I had this entire set washer dryer and 2 pedestals. Beautiful big and BLEW UP. The washer spun so fast it took off from the pedestal even though it was screwed down and exploded. Damaged the washer dryer and both pedestals. Threw me back into the kitchen. Damaged the laundry room and hot water heater. They would only refund at current market rate the washer and dryer they would not refund the pedestals. Caused a TON of damage.

Excited but not. The cord sent was way too short to reach the outlet. They didnt ask me even when I had called a couple time to confirm the cord type being sent. Customer support is not helpful at understanding. Not based in an English speaking country. Not being rude just the facts.

Dries well fun to use versatile

I think this dryer is great. Im not sure how much energy this uses and how it impacts the bills compared to how much the old dryer used but I got this to pair with the washer and Im pretty happy with it. My clothes are always dry. Im still learning how to properly wash and dry my clothes and Im starting to care more about the clothes I have and wash now because of these new items Ive purchased. Im excited for the months and years to come with these items. I would be very happy if somebody could get back to me about giving me the free storage pedestal to go under this especially since I bought the matching twinwash pedestal for the washer. I would really like that. Im always finding it harder and harder to find a place for everything. My closets are packed.

Works great quiet fast and attractive. Purchased the optional pedestal also and it is a nice add-on with plenty of storage. These are great machines. You wont be disappointed the turbo steam will take the wrinkles right out of your clothes simply just a fantastic dryer.

Frustrated by constant airflow error messages

Constant error messages that reference issue with the airflow. Checked re-checked and confirmed by our HVAC tech that everything was fine. Even re-routed venting to see if that would fix it but it didnt. VERY FRUSTRATED

Worst dryer we have ever owned. Constant error messages that there is no airflow which is false ad it has been cleaned thoroughly. Door gasket came off and wont go back in. There is not a technician if our area. LG needs to stick to TVs.

My experience with the LG dryer is that it is very efficient. It dries the clothes well and I like the fact that it has specialty settings so that I can customize my laundry needs such as Steam fresh or heavy duty if necessary. The dryers touch control settings make things so easy to use. Lastly I just want to say that I absolutely love both my LG signature washer and dryer.

Puzzling Controls

Nice big dryer with puzzling controls. There is no easy option for manually drying your stuff you have to select from number of fixed dry cycles e.g. towel bedding delicates etc. Some of cycles have bugs in them the LOW TEMP cycle for example insists on drying your stuff with high temp. Could mess things up if you dont check what the cycle settings actually are. There is a button for changing the default setting but its disabled on most of the fixed programmed cycles pushing the button to lower the drying temp on LOW TEMP cycle does nothing. The MANUAL cycle which you would think would allow you to change things like temperature and dryness doesnt do that its just another fixed program. You can generally find a cycle which will do but whats so difficult in giveng you the option to just let you select dryness and temperature. You can download a custom cycle which I imagined that you could customize to your needs but all of the download cycles are fixed you just get a wider selection of fixed cycles. Does a nice job and lint filter is really effective discharging dryer through wall into garage and secondary filter there has zero lint after 6 months. As aside if you lived where it gets really cold in winter you would also want to discharge heat into garage.

I bought this washer/dryer set about a month ago due to my old ones breaking one night. It took me a few days to adjust to the push button features versus my old turn knob style. The washer is huge that it fits a king size comforter comfortably without it being so jam packed.

Not able to solve the problem

My dryer is giving D80 code having the duct clean. Technician came trying to deactivate the command it did not work. He requested me to buy an indoor Dryer kit having a vent that is working perfectly fine. The solution is ridiculous I had to clean filter and water drawer the vent every 2 or three load even-though I tried to see if it worked I had to return it. The vent is not the problem. You guys had to solve the problem. That was the 4th time that a technician came to my house. You may need to change the computer and the door. I am really annoyed with this situation. I bought the most expensive LG washer and dryer I do not think this is right.
