Issues with fridge staying cold

We decided to get this fridge as part of a recent kitchen renovation. This specific fridge was selected since the space is small and LG products tend to have good reviews on Consumer Reports. Our experience so far has not been great and the fridge has had issues with staying cold - its not able to get any cooler than about 47 degrees. This has been going on for about a month and we have our fourth appointment next week with a technician to try and get this resolved. As you can imagine a lot of food has been going bad very quickly. Freezer and ice maker have been working well. We are looking to get a second fridge for our garage and it probably wont be LG at this point.

The fridge would be great if it kept working

After two and a half years the open door alarm would not go off even when the door was closed. Repair service stated that the fridge needed a new circuit board. While we waited for the board we had to disconnect power to the fridge to stop the incessant alarm noise. This meant bringing in a replacement fridge. When the new board was installed the alarm was fixed but the ice maker failed. Still waiting for parts. This event started 9/14/23 and is not fixed yet 11/29/23

Open door sensor beeping malfunction common

We love the refrigerator however many have commented that the door open sensor malfunctions. We cannot seem to find any support to permanently disconnect the beeping sensor.
