Stopped working in first year

my daughter bought a condo in october, 2021 that had all new samsung appliances. by december, the microwave stopped working (everything still worked except for the crucial part -heating food!) the sticker inside the door said it was manufactured in january, 2021, so it was less than a year old and clearly under warranty. she contacted samsung, and they couldn't find a service technician who worked on samsung products in the area, so they offered her a check for $340 (even though the same microwave sells on their website for $449). needless to say, her newly purchased microwave is not a samsung!

I bought this microwave to replace an older Samsung model that was damaged and I'm glad I did. There are a lot of great features and I haven't finished exploring all of them yet. It heats the food to a good temperature and the temp of the food is consistent throughout. It seems to cook everything even as I don't find cold spots or spots on the food that are scorching.
It's quieter than the older model, which I appreciate. Recommended.

I bought this microwave a few months ago and honestly I could've been better served with the basic version. This model is a horrible design. The plate doesn't stay in place while in use. The wire rack is pointless and basically I should've just not upgrade this.

I bought this microwave because I thought it was going to be different. It is an ordinary device. Hard keys to select the time and START, LIGHT, VENT. It is somewhat hard to open the door. A lot of space throughout but short in height. The microwave light is very opaque and bluish. I did not like. The price is expensive compared to the characteristics of the other brands. I do not recommend it

we remodeled our kitchen with samsung black stainless last year. it is beautiful but after less then a year of use now is displaying code se and does not work. it is no longer covered under warranty. for this expensive of a microwave we would expect more. very disappointed.

We bought this in June, but was not delivered til September due to backorders and the Corona virus. It is wonderful with the sensor cooking and thawing. There are so many features, I have not used them all yet. The size is sufficient to cook entire meals for family of four. The exhaust fan is powerful, I have only needed to use the low setting, even when I burned something on the stove top.

we purchased this microwave on feb. 14, 2020 and installed at least 2 months after the purchase so last week the product ceased to work. after looking up the code, the whole front panel has gone bad so that means the unit lasted approximately 5 months. very disappointed in samsung and this shoddy product.

i have had problems from day one. the rear clips that hold the metal shelf in place were missing from the factory-sealed box. then, the reheat sensor cooks the food too hot.

The features of this microwave have surpassed my expectations. The large capacity gives me plenty of room to cook large items without having to cut them into smaller sections. Whether my food item is small or large, the cooking sensor helps me make sure the item is warmed all the way through. Cleaning is a breeze as I can quickly wipe the enamel interior with a damp cloth after each use. The display is digital and has many cooking options, so I can choose what is right for the food I am cooking. Eco mode keeps the microwave energy efficient and the black stainless has a sleek look.

This microwave looks really good, inside and out. I love that it matches the rest of my Samsung Appliances.
On the inside, this thing is very spacious. The rack even gives more room, by allowing me to have 2 layers of food warming at the same time.
I was also surprised at the vent options. At full power this thing sucks so much air out. We spill a lot in our over :( and we are happy to have a capability to pull this smoke and smell out of the house. On the lowest level, the vent is almost silent - you have to listen really closely to hear that it is running

It was love at first sight when they pulled my Samsung microwave out of the box. Clearly marked settings and a selection of buttons that fit me perfectly. It took no time at all to install and has been surprising what a difference Sensor Cooking really makes. Things I would have never thought of reheating in a microwave are the ones turning out the best! Leftovers are no longer dreaded. Love that it keeps fingerprints from showing up, with 5 people in my house, this is a time saver for sure. I am looking forward to experimenting more with some recipes.

This is everything I expected and more! The black stainless is easy to keep clean. No worry about fingerprints. The touchpad is great for me. I m vertically challenged, so I really appreciate the over-the-stove microwave having the touchpad across the bottom, rather than on the side. The worst part of a new microwave is learning all the shortcuts. No need here... once you open the door, they are all printed on the side! Best idea ever! Any microwave can cook food and reheat, but this unit makes it simple, convenient, and looks good!

This is a nice looking microwave, during install, the installers constantly commented on how nice it looked and how well it went with the "matching" range (both black stainless steel). The sensor functions works way better than my last one. I can finally use it to defrost without fear of it cooking my food too, at least so far everything I defrosted has defrosted properly. The popcorn cook sensor is right on as well, hasn't burned any popcorn in it yet :) More than anything, i just love the looks of the black stainless steel. The finger resistant finish doesn't seem very resistant, but, it's a LOT easier to clean than a regular stainless steel finish that isn't finger resistant. It seems to me that the resistance just makes it much easier to clean, all I do is wipe it with a clean cloth and the finger prints come right off. It does have an Eco mode that turns off the display to save electricity, however, once you do anything that turns it back on (like start it), once it's done, the display doesn't auto turn back off, it stays on until you press the Eco button again. Personally I would've preferred it auto-turn off if Eco mode is set every time it's used. The range lights are nice and bright led's with 2 brightness settings and the vent fan has 4 settings to it. there is an option to turn off the turn table and it has all the standard cooking presets you'll find with all microwaves.

This is a pretty nice microwave and it looks amazing as well. The one before this was all black and looked nice, but it doesn't compare to how nice this black stainless steel looks. The vent fan is pretty strong and the light under the microwave is nice and bright. the sensor cooking does a great job, especially with defrosting. The Eco function for the clock is a nice touch, but it should auto-turn off when you're done using the microwave instead of making you turn it off after every use. As hard as I've looked, I can't find any real fault with this microwave and I'm really glad we have it.

We received this microwave - and it looks great. Sleek - no fingerprint design. It matches all our other Samsung appliances, which is a plus. I love the shelf inside, providing so many options for heating up food for the entire family simultaneously.
the microwave functions work well, and are easy to understand. Food heats up quickly.
We have our oven vented to the outside, and this works well to pull any heat (and smell when something is accidentally burned, right out of the house.

Our family is loving this great looking microwave. The 2.1 cu. ft. capacity allows for a much larger variety of dishes. The ceramic enamel interior makes for easy cleanup. We love the option of the 4 speed ventilation system. One feature we love is the Eco Mode which allows you to turn off the display to conserve energy without having to unplug the microwave. This microwave completes our newly renovated kitchen and now all of our appliances are Samsung!!

This microwave is a positive upgrade for my family. The inside dimensions are massive and look like they'd allow me to quickly cook an entire Thanksgiving meal in it. It also is very powerful and cooks things very quickly. I like the fact that it comes with a cool white under light to light up your stove and it also has a timer feature so it auto turns on and off when you want it to everyday. The fan on it is very powerful and moves smoke from bellow with ease.

Cons - literally nothing. I've used this microwave over and over for big and small things and between the design and function I can't find anything I don't like!
Pros - everything else about this microwave!
- The black stainless is indeed fingerprint proof. That is awesome.
- The control panel along the bottom of the door is in a spot my barely 5 foot tall wife can handle with ease. - The short cut buttons that are on the front panel were chosen very wisely as we use them constantly. -- The cooking guide inside the door is a great spot and now I don't have to hunt for the instructions.
- the underside lights are useful for a change! Never had a microwave where I actually wanted to use the lights!
- the fan pushes the same amount of air that you'd expect from a microwave.
- pretty level is on par with part microwaves.
- and boy does it every look good!

This microwave looks great in black stainless and pops against our cream colored cabinets. Beyond the look, the microwave has so much room. My large plates spin around with ease and tall containers fit without trouble. The cooking sensor helps with ensuring items are warmed and cooked all the way trough. The enamel interior makes clean up very easy - quick wipe with a damp cloth and I am done. The digital display is easy to read and makes selecting the right cooking choice easy as well. When not in use, the eco mode improves energy use which I really love. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

The new 2.1 cu. ft. over the Samsung over the range microwave with sensor cooking is ahead of it's time. It has plenty of presets for actual cooking. It's easy to clean ceramic interior makes cleaning a breeze. Best feature of all, no finger prints. It goes perfect with my Samsung range. One of the best features I've noticed about this microwave, is how quiet it is while in use. All the touch buttons are just the right pressure to get your cook on for me.

Got my microwave about 2 weeks ago, have had a good chance to use it for various foods and casseroles, lunches and dinners.... And absolutely LOVE IT ! First the design, really nice, Large display to see time entered/left/clock. I love all of the presets for different things like popcorn etc. The inside available room... VERY PLENTIFUL !! Although I dont have anything super large, I'm sure I could fit a HAM in this for a dinner of 6 ! As for the styling, its a PERFECT Match for my other Samsung appliances (Fridge and Stove) . Lastly Love that it has NO HANDLE exposed on the front, its a Side door open kind of a thing.... Glad the ugly handle was eliminated !

First look at this microwave is pretty impressive. I love the way the unit has many preset programed buttons and the descriptions for them inside the door to learn and refresh my memory- The interior is wonderful as it looks like the inside of a regular range with its speckled porcelain finish- no more plastic white to get stained and show food splatter! The black stainless finish is very up to date and has a great clean look to it- it claims to be finger proof resistant- but I guess that depends on how clean your fingers are! I would say the main parts are more finger proof than the actual control panel which seems to need to be wiped often- maybe it's just me- but I don't want to see any finger prints on my new Microwave!
Installation seemed to be a breeze- they were unable to use my existing wall mounts so I was glad the oven came with it's own mounting brackets. It did not however, come with a user manual! I had to contact Samsung- they gave me two options, either download and print it myself or they would mail me one- I choose to have them mail me one- it was a downloaded photo copy! I need this manual to learn all the features and what exactly all the pre-programed buttons would do- with so many options , my guessing days are over.
It even lets me set my own FAVORITE COOK button!
I love the multi level light under the unit for cook top and night light use. it also has a 4 speed exhaust fan! This new Samsung Microwave is a big upgrade to my old house!
