Screams high-end, cooks awesome, but...

First things first. This range looks so good, very stylish and modern and high-end. It's beautiful. It does get pretty grubby from fingerprints and food splatter, but it cleans up fairly easily. It also cooks really well. We got the new required pots/pans and it's wild how fast a pan heats up to fry something, or how fast a pot of water comes to a boil (literally minutes!). The oven has been great for consistent, even heating, we don't have to flip cookie sheets around anymore. The convection oven and air fryer work really great. The dehydrator didn't really work, though. It also has a very handy safety lock feature that locks the oven door and disables all the controls so our 1-year-old can't do anything he shouldn't. Now for the "but". Our range either arrived scratched on the cooktop, or the installers scratched it, or potentially we did somehow, but we noticed it day 1. It seems like there are a number of things that are beta quality. The blue lights on the cooktop that are meant to mimic gas range flames are pretty poorly done. As mentioned earlier, the dehydrator just didn't do it's job...that was still some wet jerky 15 hours later. The security lock feature does work well, but it sounds like someone is inside pounding on the cooktop when you turn it on and it's locking the oven door. Finally, it's just loud/noisy overall. The induction cooktop makes an electric hiss (best way to describe it) noise then entire time it's in use, and the venting fan that turns on while using is loud and runs for a long while after you're done cooking.

Best Induction range yet!

We have been living with our new Samsung 6.0 cu. ft. Smart Freestanding induction range Model NX63T8911SS/AA. for over a week now and have used it EVERY DAY. First off , the packaging was great, it was well protected and there was no damage from shipping. All parts were tucked nicely in separate packages inside the oven compartment. Considering all the features it has the oven has simple and clean lines. The smooth glass top and large oven window really give it a high end look. The high oven capacity is great for entertaining and the built in air fryer means we can get rid of the small air fryer appliance we had and clear up some counter space, having the built in air fryer is our favorite feature. The large burner has the simulated flame and all burner's dials light up brightly so there is no doubt when a burner is on. The said, without a pan on the stove it will not heat up at all! With Wi-Fi connectivity our Samsung Smart Things home hub immediately recognized it. It allows us to no be tied to the kitchen when cooking. Also, the style really updated the look of our kitchen, a great addition. They make a trim kit to give it a more built in look as well. Best of all, the clean up IS SO EASY on this one as compared to our previous gas range. Love it!

We bought this Samsung range because our old range was on it's last leg and we are trying to upgrade to mostly Samsung electronics. We are so happy with the range! It's a multi machine as it is also an air fryer, dehydrator, ect. With this you can throw out all those extra appliances (air fryer, ect ) taking up real estate on your countertop as this machine does it all! Well nearly, it's not a blender. This machine is super safe and very efficient, gets water to a steady boil in about two minutes. Do yourself a favor a buy this machine if you are looking for a new range, you won't be sorry!

First off, this range looks great. It looks modern and sleek, and-even when we can't keep our kid's fingerprints off it-looks clean and stylish. Speaking of kids, the child safety lock is an excellent feature that locks the knobs and dial, as well as the oven door. The front also doesn't get more than lukewarm to the touch when the oven is in use. And, speaking of the oven, while we haven't been able to use all the oven settings, the Bake, Convection Bake and Air Fryer settings all work great. The cooktop is so easy to keep clean-compared to our old non-induction electric range-since nothing gets burnt on, just wipes right off. Pots and pans heat up so quick and keep a consistent temp, it reminds us of our old gas range. The smart features are also super great. We have it connected to SmartThings and we can get alerted on our smart speakers, TV and phones when preheating is done or the cook is done, and we can extend cooking or choose to keep warm via voice commands or the app. If we had to point out some gripes, which seem applicable here, the blue lights meant to mimic a gas range flame on the large cooktop ring are kind of, meh. In the informational pictures we saw prior to purchase they looked much brighter and more pronounced, and you barely see anything in reality. It's a fun gimmick feature that should have been executed better or left of entirely. Next would be how noisy it is. The cooktop has a whiny electronic noise when it's in use, as well as a fan noise that runs during cooking and for a time after. Last would be that our cooktop had a scratch on day one. Not sure if it came that way or if our new cookware maybe had something on it, but we have a fairly noticeable, deep scratch on ours. Also, think it's relevant to point out that induction ready cookware is required. While we were aware prior to purchase, that might not be the case for all and should be more prominent to prospective buyers.

My Wife's New Gadget

When the range arrived I was a little afraid of what to expect. When I first read about induction ranges there was so much information to take in. I am glad that I read as much as I could and got a general idea of what to expect. The first thing we did to get ready was buy new pans that would work with the range. I then got excited to know how beautiful it would look in my kitchen and how easier it would make my cooking experience. Our first meal was chicken in air fry mode. I love the way it is an easy turn of the knob and no guessing required. I also set it up with the smart things app and like that I am able to set things from my phone while at work. Samsung makes cleaning so easy with the self clean option. It is hard to mess up when it gives you all the instructions. You set it on self clean and it steams so much that it really does just wipe off the mess. I am very impressed with the range and have been enjoying my new cooking adventure. I just need to get my wife into Betty Crocker mode so she can start using the baking function.

good: this is more powerful than my last induction stove. incredible control and power. knobs are great blue-glow and auto-off fit and finish display on the glass top suggestions: remote control for range wasn't important. i did want remote probe control/monitor. my phone is not fully compatible. should have separate controls, and more probes. i've turned off sound so i don't hear the clicks, but now alarms are off too. turning off the oven when done isn't really enough. if this is hooked up to my wifi, why do i have to enter date and time every time i lose power? the front burner is very powerful and large, but it isn't even for my largest pan. disappointed that all 3 other burners are small. need a screen lock that doesn't lock the oven door so i can wipe it off.

I purchased this induction slide in 3 months ago. I had to wait 3 months for delivery. Takes a bit of time to learn how hot the burners are. Cooks very very fast. I do not like the fact that the front oven dial often gets "touched" when I lean against it, so it needs to be turned off.

I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest feedback. To start, I'll state that I've never been fortunate enough to own an induction oven with all the bells and whistles before (air fryer, dehydrator, ect.) until now; and now I doubt I will ever go back to a regular electric range again. To start, this thing is smart! Not only tech wise but also safety wise. The burner will not heat up unless it senses ferrous metals, so no more burned hands. Being this smart it does have a drawback, it only senses ferrous metals/pans that are flat bottomed! As such we had to donate many of our pants that weren't flat bottomed or stainless steel and are now using harder to clean but better quality cooking cast iron cookware. Now I will say that there's some skeptical people out there that believe induction ovens cause cancer because of the magnetic force used in the cooking procedure. I've done the research and these ovens are amazing and are no more cancer causing than any other electronic you encounter in day to day life. With that being said, I cannot honestly pinpoint any bad aspect to this product, none. This oven is great! It reminds me of the Viking ovens I so often see contestants using in cooking competitions like MasterChef. This machine cooks evenly on the stove, no hot or cold spots, and it can bring water to a rolling boil in around two minutes, amazing! There's a meat probe that hooks into the oven so when the internal temperature reaches the desired temperature the oven simply shuts off to avoid over cooking. This is a huge advantage when cooking meats that can easily be overcooked, like salmon for instance. This machine is more than just a simple oven: it offers so many features including the air fryer and dehydrator option that I mentioned so you can toss your dehydrator and air fryer that are taking up precious counter space as this thing does it all! Not to mention this machine is handsome, and as professional looking as those insanely expensive Vikings. The brushed steel and black really pop, I mean this thing is a conversation piece! I would absolutely recommend this product to friends, family, and anyone else seeking a quality stove that offers almost any cooking option one would need. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for; so true with this magical machine. This is a quality machine that will last!

Samsung Smart Slide-in Induction Stove

This stove is Wonderful, it boiled water in under 2 minutes, and is a welcome upgrade to our old stove. I was easily able to use the Smart APP on my phone to set it up on the WiFI and configure it. The APP allows you to monitor the Stove, if baking, and the Cook tops as well, so you can even turn it off or On from the Living Room. and I did have to access the main menu to set the Clock & Date, which does zero out in a power outage, so maybe Samsung could add a small Capacitor or rechargeable batter to hold the Clock during brief power outages, which of us is a daily event. My son also uses it, and thinks it works Great. It's also much more economical use then a standard coil burners as it heat the metal in the pan and not the air around it. I love the simulated Blue "GAS" flame feature as well. The stove cooks & bakes our food very fast and much better. It also cleans up nicely with just a little Soap & Water and paper towels, which keeps it looking like new. The only down side is that it won't work with pure Aluminum pans, so the wife got some new ones that work great with it.

Love the Air Fryer option!

After direct ordering this 3 months ago from Samsung, my induction range was installed. Living during Covid delays, 3 months is understandable. I was shocked how fast my skillet heated up and when I flicked some water to test if it was ready (which it was) a drop fell right beside my skillet on the ceramic induction top and just sat there, not heating up at all! This to me means less stain residue and less cleaning struggles. We have well water and sometimes mineral residues are left behind with water spills. But not now! I was very careful to follow the instructions to clean the ceramic top before first use (cleaner not included but I already had ceramic cleaner) and to do a one hour burn in of the oven as instructed in the manual. I have already used the air fryer basket and the sweet potato fries were delicious. But actually it was my 19 year old son who begged me to let him do this and he did! The oven only comes with 2 racks even though it has a convection mode and has 7 rack options. I wish I had tried my old racks before they took them away to see if they fit my Samsung. The quick manual was enough to get up and running while the QR code for the Smart App was on a sticker on the stove and was easy to set up. However, the full manual (over 200 pages) that has the necessary details for a lot of the options has to be downloaded and is not included. This range is beautiful. It goes lower than my former 30 year old range and I did not know that the oven light automatically comes on when opening the door. Every convenience or helpful possibility on the function of this range has been well thought out. I highly recommend it.

I have not dealt with an induction cooker before and I am very pleasantly surprised. I was a big opponent of induction. But at this point, when I realized how it works I would never switch it back for gas range. Induction cooking is much faster and easier. I am very surprised how fast a large pot of water may boil. Now we don't have to spend half the day in the kitchen. Cleaning is very simple and does not cause such problems as in a gas stove. So finally my wife is happy because now it's not a big problem as it was earlier with regular gas range. The smart option is very useful when you have small children. My wife uses this feature all the time. It's very comfortable to have all the information on your phone. Even when someone is opening the oven the application is notifying about. The oven is very powerful and comes with a meat thermometer that has a power supply in the oven.Built-in Air Fry is much better that one we have before - meal preparation now is shorter and food comes more crispy!Thanks to our new Samsung Range we could throw out some staff from our kitchen and make more space. Overall, the cookware has a very classic look and very modern functions.

I don't know how I ever cooked without this stove. Induction heating, air fryer and all the smart features make this a powerhouse. First off the induction heating is amazing, heats so evenly and quickly, boiling water takes seconds. I love throw my teapot on and just like that the water is ready. No more mess, if your like me and have boil overs, you can simply grab a towel and wipe the cool surface up. Not to mention if you have furry friends no more fear if they happen to jump on the stove after you have been cooking. The air fryer is amazing with the no preheat needed totally replacing my counter top model. every thing comes out crispy and delicious. the basket included is awesome for ease of use and everyone that comes over cant believe how good the food is. wrap all this up with app and I don't know how I even cooked before. I don't know how many times I have called the wife and asked her to preheat the oven or had to wait to get home to start the oven. I can pick up a frozen pizza or just start the oven up to reheat leftovers and as soon i get home start cooking getting dinner done faster. Really should be the Motto of this thing "Get Dinner Done Faster!" oh and if you panic and ask that question "did I leave the stove on?" don't worry the app as got your back.

Cooking revolutionized! Samsung has done it again!

i don't know how i ever cooked without this stove. induction heating, air fryer and all the smart features make this a powerhouse. first off the induction heating is amazing, heats so evenly and quickly, boiling water takes seconds. no more mess, if your like me and have boil overs, you can simply grab a towel and wipe the cool surface up. the air fryer is amazing with the no preheat needed totally replacing my counter top model. every thing comes out crispy and delicious. wrap all this up with app and i don't know how i even cooked before.

From the very beginning, induction is something new to me. I am fully impressed how it is working and I regret that I discovered it that late! Samsung Induction Range is truly amazing. From installation - which was pretty fast and easy to cook! Samsung Induction Range is designed simply and easy. Very big plus for the finishing strip to cover connection with the wall. Right after installation my husband told me ' you won't like it' and showed me the hole between the range and the wall. And then I realized I saw some strips inside! And here it is! Cover everything. After installation I connected my new Samsung Induction Range to SmartThings App. It was a very smooth process. I love that I can have control of my oven even when I am not around.I never realized induction ranges can speed up cook time. Yesterday I cooked cauliflower soup in 2 hours! And it was super tasty! Before on gas range it took me much more! Now cooking is taking much less time than before! It cook so quickly that my husband has already boiled soup twice;)Also cleaning after cooking is pretty easy now. When my husband started cooking I had a big cleaning adventure with my old range. Now with an edgeless glass surface it is very simple, after all, I don't have to scrub all the rungs. The Oven is nice and big! Nice addition is a basket for air frying! Thanks to my new range I was able to clean my countertop because of the built-in air-fryer. I don't need to keep extra stuff any more. Also with the app I'm getting notification when someone opens the door even if the oven is off! The SelfClean feature is much better than I had in my previous oven. And it's really clean! Thank you for that. I am totally in love with my new treasure!

When we first got the oven, my wife and I quickly discovered that our cookware was not compatible with the induction top. After upgrading our set with compatible induction we quickly discovered the benefits of the oven. Instead of the traditional electric stove that heats up the surface to heat up the cookware the induction top directly heats up the cookware, cutting down the time required to cook the food. One example is that it takes less than a minute to boil a pot of water. There are quality-of-life features that I'm finding quite pleasant, such as the Smart Control feature, which allows for remotely controlling the unit. We use Smart Control feature to check if the stove was left on and to also turn off the oven remotely if it was. Overall, we are quite pleased with this upgrade and will recommend this to my family and friends.

Best Alternative for gas!

My first impression to this range was amazing! I really love how easy to play around with the settings. And my most dummy experience was not realizing that not all types of cooking wares will work on this "my bad as I didn't do my homework of learning more about induction". Moving forward, we bought an appropriate pans and pots and it just works amazing! I have been wanting a gas range but the house we moved In doesn't have one set up and I don't want to spend thousands of $ just to have one. Moving on, this is way way better than your average coil or burner glass type! The reason I said it because it heats up way faster than your average electric range. And also one more thing I noticed, it only heats up where your pan is at! Once you move away your pan it will immediately stopped heating so burning your food is way lesser! Let's talk about the oven!!! I loved it!!! I baked a salmon and it cooked evenly! With it's huge fan inside it really did a big difference of not having burnt on the bottom or top. I always had a problem of this happening on my old electric range. I'm definitely not going back to electric (not induction) range again! Overall, appearance is definitely super nice! I loved how it looks and how the settings set up. I didn't have to read the manual for that for me to figure it out. The oven are really easy to set it up. Everything in the settings are very intuitive and easy to understand. The only problem that I think everyone will encounter is many will be disappointed to learn they need to replace most of their pots and pans which for me was I easily moved on. There are alternative for that though just do more research about it. That being said, make sure when buying your pots and pans that it actually says "induction ready" or there's a symbol that it say induction. Otherwise, a must have and a very good alternative for gas range! Samsung never failed to impress me again!
