I bought this few months back now, the first one that Samsung brought in was broken or got broken on the way, I'm not sure. But Samsung was able to come replace it immediately and the new one has been great, works perfectly fine for what we need.
I definitely do recommend buying any home appliances from Samsung directly. They do a great job.

i love my new fridge! it's so pretty. replacement for a 16 year old fridge, so i was ready. the dark color is lovely and it's very roomy. delivery was on time. a very good experience all around. hopefully it lasts a long time. thanks samsung !

Purchased this fridge 3 years ago. 5-6 mos ago the coolant system went out. Still waiting and trying to get it repaired under warranty because that component is supposed to have a 5 year parts and labor warranty.

This Samsung refrigerator is running well after roghly three months. There are a couple of features that require mention (warning?): 1) The placement of the freezer on top and refrigerator in the lower half results in, at least for us, to either bend down or get on our knees to access the foodstuff. 2) The refrigerator portion is very deep. This can either be good or it can be bad. For us it's bad because it's hard to see/search for items on the shelves.

I bought this item around Memorial day and it has been working like a charm. So quiet and keeps the correct temperature even at a middle setting. The food including raw vegetables stays fresh and odorless even after extended storage.

i do like the newer digital features. however, the light isn't nearly bright enough and considering removing a shelf just to have more room.
the shelf space leaves a lot to be desired.
the slide and release pantry should probably be placed above the crisper drawers instead of the top to allow more space and so that it doesn't block the light from getting to the rest of the fridge.

Bought this fridge new 3 years ago. Suddenly went out 2 weeks ago. Sealant system is out and compressor may be as well. So far haven't any contact me (aside from initial repairman's trip to diagnose and tell me it's not something he can fix and he would have to contact Samsung about it) about if they will cover it under the warranty like they should.

got this refrigerator new in 2017. the refrigerator started making a weird noise yesterday--almost like a weed eater whining. today it's making a non-stop gurgling sound and the refrigerator isn't cooling anymore. biscuits in the crisper drawer busted open. freezer still seems to be freezing as ice is still frozen but it will cost more for service call to even see what's wrong with it than it will be to just go buy a good used fridge somewhere.

Got this Frig about 3 months ago. Had to have service person check it out since it was not cooling below 36/38 degree. He replaced a panel & sensor in back of frig. Since that repair it seems to be much better.

Looked great and was spacious HOWEVER broke 2 months after the warranty expired. It was almost impossible to find someone who dared to mess with a Samsung refrigerator.. ended up being cheaper to buy a new one.

I was very excited to be replacing my old, inefficient refrigerator. I really wanted to love this new one. I had not seen it in the store, but I looked at online photos carefully to compare it to other models. I didn't care about the "Stainless Steel" finish but wanted a black model, so I went with the black stainless. (I put "stainless steel" in quotes because it is not real stainless steel. True stainless steel is not magnetic, yet the fridge door is magnetic.)
Regarding the features: 1. It is dark. The light is positioned in the front, which casts shadows towards the back. 2. The shelves are adjustable, but there are not many height options, so I have really had to change the way I store my food, and I'm not thrilled with the arrangement.
3. The facade of the fridge is FLIMSY and SCRATCHES EASILY. We had to reverse the hinges for our space, and, in the process, the freezer door got scratched badly from an object that was not very sharp. Now my brand new fridge has major (albeit cosmetic) damage. I suppose the plus side of the magnetic surface is that I can now hide the scratches behind magnets and papers.

From day one this fridge doesn't cool like it should it! Even at its max settings the fridge temp ranges from 39-45 temp swings and this is with no one opening it for over 12 hrs. The lighting is very poor and it doesn't shine inside the fridge just at the front of the shelf leaving it dark inside. The shelf's fog up if the door is open for more than 30 seconds at a time making it even harder to see inside the all ready dim fridge. As for the color the black stainless is GRAY not black like other brands. Last time I but a new model with out seeing it in person..

I bought the stainless steel version of this and on Home Depot's website it says it has a fingerprint-proof coating to help prevent fingerprints and smudges. I purchased the identical model from Lowe's and called Lowe's customer service to confirm this model does have this coating and was told yes and that she found it in the user manual. I now have the refrigerator in my home with prints covering it and when I call Samsung, the lady says it does not come with a finger-print proof coating and they can't help what Home Depot put on their website or what Lowes.com told me. The lady was very nice, but nonetheless I now have a refrigerator that is not what I thought I was ordering. I might return it as this was the main reason for this purchase. Very disappointed.
