i purchased this washer and the matching dryer 3 years ago. a few months ago i started having issues with the washing machine powering on and then one day it died completely. after some research i discovered that the electronic control board had gone bad and that this is a known issue with samsung appliances. it will cost about $600 in parts and labor to replace it. if you can even get the replacement part, which has been difficult if not impossible. however, you can buy the new version of this same washer for $699. what sort of company makes large appliances that are essentially worthless in 3 years and are so expensive to fix? no care for the customer, no care for the environment. it's sad.

Had a Samsung WF328AA washer for 15 years when it developed numerous issues and needed replaced. I chose this washer and regret that Samsung no longer makes the WF328AAW. When I do a FULL load of jeans and t-shirts using the Normal cycle, heavy soil, extra rinse and spin I see the time is 1 hour 50 minutes but it ends up taking almost 3 hours for the load. When I checked with Samsung, I was told that this load should take 90 minutes which is what it did with my old washer. The rep was exceptionally nice with suggestions of making sure the washer was level, to unplug and plug the washer, and calibrate it, all that were done when the washer was first set up. Sadly the last suggestion was to do a smaller load. So by doing two smaller loads that will take 90 minutes each, it will take me 3 hours. Hmmmmm, what have I gained?

I got the set with the matching dryer. I love this washer and how clean it leaves your clothes. It does what's its supposed to do, self cleans, little vibration and super quiet, even in high spins. I had to go check to see if it was still on at times. I really wished it had steam and more cycles, but again it's perfect for what it does. The dryer is also great, dryers clothes fast. I also love the build quality, they don't seem flimsy and cheap, the dial is very smooth to rotate and it doesn't take forever to reach your desired cycle. The aesthetics are super pleasing to the eye, very futuristic and elegant. The price was unbeatable for this quality. I would definitely recommend these.

I have owned this washing machine for less than a year Samsung has come by twice to inspect it. It is extremely loud! it sounds like it will break down any minute. The first time the inspector came by he "leveled" the machine and "fixed" the problem. Second time, the noise was there and he said it was normal I have video of the machine obviously having trouble washing banging and shaking, and again said it was normal. I am unsatisfied and regret buying this machine. If Samsung really cares to know why I feel this way about their product they will contact me since I was unable to upload my video.

I bought this washer from Lowe's a month ago and stopped working in a month due to busted motherboard . Unable to return or exchange because Lowe's said I was a day past the 30 day period. Now I'm stuck with warranty work from this point onward. Prior to purchasing this washer I had a Kenmore front loader washer for 17 years until the drum belt broke. I bought this Samsung because it had excellent reviews. I'm back to using commercial washer for the next 2 weeks until the part comes in and repair done.

We have had the washer for about a month now, really happy with it.
I think the delay end is probably one of my favorite features. I put in a load of laundry before work and when I come home it's just about finished. Helps speed things up in the evening to already have a load of wash done.

I bought this for almost $ 1,000 4yrs ago and drum broke. Cheap metal bar connecting drum & won't last. Ok first year or two, but for that much washers used to last about 10 yrs not 4! Samsung does not stand by product! Won't repair. I'm ready to contact BB B for help! Have to drain water & clean cup. I sit on floor & hold tube to drain. Fabric softener doesn't always go in!

I was thrilled to purchase my new samsung washer and dryer. Before purchasing, I asked about my concern for mold build up which had been talked about on the Today Show. " If you keep the door open and occasionally wash it, it will be fine" Okay, easy solution, i Thought. NO NO NO. Not true. There is a reason it has a 5 hour SELF-CLEAN service. And that does not help. I can smell the mold from the hallway and it's only 2 years old! What do I do??

I was very angry and disappointed. I don't want to go to the refund and buy again.

I loved my old Samsung, but I moved and had to buy a new one. I really like this washer. It has all the functions I need, and I love how much laundry it holds. But it doesn't seem to get my clothes as clean as my previous washer. I've only had it for about a month, and I hope to correct this by experimenting with the cleaning modes. It's quiet, except for the really long song it plays when it finishes.

I bought it on 05/19. Last week my wife said it smells like sewerage...I take the filter out but didnt find anything. So we just wash it without any clothing in it.. Now it smells okay.. And it is over pricing. Samsung home appliance treated me like nothing, I am not buying any Samsung stuff any more, nor my family/friends.

I've this washer for only 2yrs. It worked great, looked, great, never had any complaints. Went to do a load of laundry and it wouldn't work, no water was going into the washer however it continued to run a cycle like nothing was wrong. We never even got an error code. My husband checked the lines and filters, replaced the water valves and pressure sensor and still can't get it to work. We called Samsung and they want to charge a ridiculous amount of money just to have a tech come out and then we'll have to pay for whatever is wrong and for labor. Absolute ridiculous and not worth it. It's will cost more to do that than just buy a new washer (NOT a Samsung after all this)

It's really nice that you use less water and less detergent with this washer. The different wash cycles are very much on point. I like the 'bedding' cycle and the 'normal' cycle most of all. I've used the 'sanitize' cycle and it takes way too long, however, it did an excellent job sanitizing the items I had in there. I've also used the self-clean cycle and I appreciate that it has that cycle for keeping the inside of the machine clean and fresh smelling.
A somewhat negative item for me is that you have the press the 'power' button to turn on the machine and then wait like 5 seconds to select the cycle and then touch start. I would like a more immediate response from the 'power' button when I turn the machine on. I want to start the machine and walk away. I don't want to wait to get it going.
Also, our laundry room is in the house on the main floor and the basement is below. The machine really does vibrate quite a bit and make excessive noise when spinning. I've come to accept that because otherwise the machine is really good. I almost think that if Samsung slowed the spin cycle down a little that the machine would make less noise. It just gets spinning so fast to get the water out of the clothes, I suppose it can't help but make some noise.

This my first front-loader and first HE machine. Actually, it's my first new washer in a long time.
I'm truly impressed by everything about the washer, especially the noise level. The laundry area is in my basement, so I didn't give noise much thought when shopping. But I was really surprised by the near-silence the first time I ran a load. There's a bit of hum during the spin cycle and some slight sloshing during the wash and rinse cycles and when draining. But overall the washer makes even less noise than the dryer, which is hardly noisy itself. Water use is very impressive too, but takes some getting used to. Sometimes all the water and detergent are IN the clothes and doesn't even show in the drum. But I've never had such clean clothes, so what they're doing here works, and works well.

Received washer from box store. Set up was pretty straight forward. I do wish that the door was reversible. The directions for use are pretty clear and to the point. This is my first front load washer so I was not use to the extended wash times, but I was able to get more in the load than my last washer and it did a great job at cleaning the clothes. I haven't used all the features yet, bit I am sure I will soon enough. Overall I am happy with the washer purchase.

This washer is amazing! The best washer I have ever had so far.
The direct drive motor is essentially what I love the most. It is quiet, yet it washes perfectly and the washer doesn't vibrate or travel around the room because of vibrations.
I also love the detergent, softner and bleach in separate soap dispensers. And I was very intrigued by the steam feature, which I haven't gotten to try yet, but I'm sure it will be super effective for tough stains. All worth the money!

I had previously had a top load standard washer. Had heard others rave about how much they loved this washer so I did about a month of research. I've had this for roughly 10 months. I must say that I could not believe how much softer my clothes feel and the fresh smell was incredible. I wash a lot of things from bedding, curtains, dog blankets. I love the versatility of this washer. Sometimes I will even wash my clothes or towels on "quick wash" just because it does so well. Did I mention how quiet it is?

This washer washes our clothes better and has more features. The high spin cycle means less drying time. I would like the sound feature to be a bit louder. Also, I would like the pedestal to be at least 14 inches, instead of 13 inches. Some of the bottles, that fit upright in my previous Whirlpool pedestal, need to be laid flat in this Samsung pedestal. Laying the bottles flat takes up more room. Overall, I'm very pleased with the look, features and price of this washing machine.
